The most exciting time of the year for fashion lovers has arrived: it’s finally Fashion Week Spring 2014 in New York City! Here in the office, we’re so excited to see all the amazing fashion that the coming week brings!

This Thursday, we’re reminiscing on our awesome Grand Opening, held here in the Lounge at Jewel Be Mine a little over a month ago. It seems like just yesterday, as we’ve been busy planning more events, picking out amazing new items for the website (coming very soon), and enjoying the company of guests in our Lounge! That night was just the beginning of so much to come, and we look back fondly at the festivities with some exclusive, never seen before pictures:

Jewel Be Mine has wanted to connect fashion and trends with health and mind/body wellness for some time now, and our recent partnership with Brickell Yoga Studio and Raw Juz will make this dream a reality with the introduction of Trendy Healthy Mondays! Every Monday evening starting September 30^th, The Lounge at Jewel Be Mine will host local women coming together to learn introductory yoga poses and learn about the benefits of an all-natural detox program.

After throwing Friday’s jeweled Endless Summer Fashion Show, we thought we would share some tips with you on how to throw a great party. As we mentioned in a previous blog post, it’s all about the details! So, here is our list of what it takes to throw a bash your friends will remember forever!

-Choose an inviting location. It can be your home, a fancy restaurant, or whatever location fits the theme of your party, but make sure it’s a place that will be comfortable for your guests. We chose our Lounge in downtown Miami, as it is beautiful yet cozy, and just the right amount of space that our guests could mingle (and conveniently, just the right amount of space for our pink carpet runway!).  

Ahh, summer. With about a month of blissful summer weather still upon us, we are clinging on to every ray of sun left. If you’re looking to pump some inspiration into your end-of-summer wardrobe, we might be able to help you out with that! One of the most fun treats at our Media & Press Grand Opening of the Lounge at Jewel Be Mine was a visit by one of Blo Bar Brickell’s hair style experts! She treated our guests to their choice of blowout: straight, curly, updo, and the list goes on! Needless to say, our guests looked even MORE flawless than when they got to the lounge. We’re grateful for Blo Bar’s presence at this event, as it really helped make this night a success (and tons of girly fun).
